Many issues such as connection problems, reduced performance, partial activation of LEDs or fans, unexpected disconnections, or unstable operation can often be traced back to either an unsuitable USB cable or insufficient power delivery.
When connecting your IMMERSION devices, always ensure that:
- A USB data cable is used rather than a charge-only cable. Cables intended exclusively for charging do not support communication with the PC and may prevent the device from functioning correctly.
- The connected power supply provides sufficient power for the entire setup. If the available power is insufficient, connected components may not operate correctly, may only function partially, or may disconnect unexpectedly.
- All cables and power connections are securely connected and meet the required specifications.
Verifying these points should be one of the first troubleshooting steps before assuming a hardware malfunction.
